Procurement Advisor

Position: Procurement Advisor: Hybrid Role
Shape the future of procurement as a Senior Procurement Advisor in a hybrid setting in Ottawa. This 18-month contract focuses on high-impact procurement initiatives, balancing compliance and strategic objectives.

Join a respected organization in the international development sector, where you will work closely with stakeholders and suppliers. Your expertise of over 5 years will guide domestic and international procurement efforts, ensuring adherence to trade agreements and governance structures while facilitating continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end procurement and contracting processes

• Advise internal clients while managing compliance requirements

• Negotiate and resolve issues with suppliers effectively

• Mitigate procurement risks in alignment with trade agreements

• Foster knowledge sharing within the procurement team

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of progressive procurement experience

• Strong grasp of source-to-settlement and contract management

• Knowledge of Canadian trade agreements like CFTA and CETA

• Proven ability to manage various stakeholders

• Skills in ERP systems, including SAP Ariba and Coupa
