Position: Senior Business Development Executive (BDE III) – HP Inc. Public Sector (US Field)

Overview

Join the HP Team at TD SYNNEX – the leading global technology distributor for HP and play a pivotal role in driving growth across Public Sector. We are seeking an experienced, results‑driven Senior Business Development Executive (US Field) to lead profitable growth initiatives across the Public Sector through strategic reseller partnerships. This role sits within the Vendor Management organization and reports directly to the Vice President.

It is a highly visible, field‑based position requiring approximately 50% travel, with direct engagement across resellers, customers, and vendor partners. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of strategic thinking, relationship leadership, and execution excellence to drive sustained growth.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute customer‑centric growth strategies for assigned accounts.
  • Expand business within strategically important accounts and close complex, multi‑year opportunities.
  • Maintain senior‑level customer and reseller relationships and identify organic growth opportunities.
  • Serve as a subject‑matter expert on HP’s portfolio and technologies, staying ahead of market trends and competitive dynamics.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, reseller forums, and vendor‑sponsored engagements.
  • Drive demand through coordinated seminars, training programs, and enablement initiatives.
  • Perform analysis and reporting to communicate program performance, business impact, and growth strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Management and internal stakeholders to align on sales pillars and value offerings.
  • Coach and develop junior team members when appropriate.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of sales experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Thorough knowledge of solutions and assigned products.
  • Proven ability to deliver strategic vendor solutions and identify new partners.
  • Established relationships with key vendor contacts.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Leadership skills with a willingness to lead and innovate.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask effectively.
  • Comfortable with technology and basic office tasks.
  • Willingness to travel and occasionally work non‑standard hours.
  • Remote/work‑from‑home capability.
