Relationship Development Specialist (In-Person, Hybrid, or Remote)
A dynamic role focused on outreach, partnership development, and client acquisition for Pillars of Wellness’ Centers of Excellence.
Position SummaryThe role may be part-time non‑clinical or full‑time hybrid. Part‑time applicants with business development experience will focus exclusively on outreach. Full‑time applicants will maintain a clinical caseload while expanding outreach and development efforts.
Responsibilities- Make high‑volume outbound calls and send emails to potential referral sources, partner organizations, employers, healthcare providers, and community stakeholders.
- Identify, qualify, and initiate leads to generate new client referrals and strategic partnerships.
- Build strong relationships with referral partners, including medical offices, schools, EAP providers, community agencies, and local businesses.
- Communicate agency services, specialties, and Center of Excellence programs using provided scripts.
- Schedule introductory meetings or emails for the Growth and Development team with qualified prospects.
- Maintain detailed outreach activity records, pipeline progress, and follow‑ups in tracking systems.
- Collaborate with marketing to align messaging, campaigns, and promotional efforts with outreach goals.
- Represent the agency professionally in outreach efforts.
- Contribute to growth strategy discussions with leadership.
- Preferred experience in business development, client acquisition, outreach, or account management (healthcare or behavioral health experience preferred).
- Strong phone presence and confidence making outbound calls.
- Proven ability to build relationships, handle objections, and spark partnership opportunities.
- Self‑motivated with a goal‑oriented mindset and comfort working with performance metrics.
- Excellent verbal communication, organizational, and follow‑through skills.
- Ability to manage a lead pipeline and track activities using outreach systems.
- Professional, polished presentation in both phone and in‑person interactions.
- Master’s degree and an associate or Independent License (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LPC, Psychologist, etc.) preferred but not required for part‑time non‑clinical applicants.
