An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Resource Planner to join Chime Housing. This role is responsible for ensuring that our services are effectively resourced to meet customer needs, supporting the delivery of high‑quality responsive housing services. The role is predominantly office based.
Introduction to the roleAt Chime Housing, we provide vital services that help people to live better lives. We’re looking for a full-time Resource Planner to join our resource planning team, assisting in the delivery of our reactive maintenance, domestic service and breakdowns.
We are looking for a Resource Planner with the aim of taking on a fast‑paced and integral role in the repairs department. This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organised and values working as part of a team.

You will be customer-focused, with the ability to interact empathetically with a wide variety of people. You’ll have an excellent grasp of a repairs / maintenance service function. You will have a background in customer services and knowledge of the housing or construction sectors would be a distinct advantage.
- Knowledge/experience of using scheduling systems is preferred but training will be provided
- Experience of having previously worked within a Repairs and Maintenance environment is desirable
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy and reactive workload
- A positive and flexible attitude
- The ability to demonstrate reliability, initiative, and the ability to work as part of a team and on your own
- Proficient IT knowledge and understanding
- A good standard of education with a GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics at level C or above and the ability to demonstrate suitable work experience necessary for delivering the role
- You will need to maintain a satisfactory basic level DBS check
- Knowledge of the housing sector
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
- Social Housing experience
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and processes within the social housing sector
- System experience: MRI and Service Connect
