Job Description

This position is accountable for the overall facilitation of Columbia Threadneedle Institutional client and account onboarding activities across multiple operations and business units to ensure a successful client experience. The role also supports maintenance and off‑boarding of client accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the onboarding of client accounts: gather account instructions, assess impact, communicate requirements, track implementation, and manage record retention.
  • Ensure account activity is achieved with quality, accuracy, and within established service levels.
  • Coordinate across various business and operations teams to align and prepare for client‑facing events.
  • Communicate as subject‑matter expert across multiple audiences.
  • Identify issues proactively and develop viable solutions aligned with core competencies and established processes.
  • Apply internal controls, compliance requirements and required policies and procedures.
  • Lead and perform special project work across business lines as needed.
  • Perform reporting tasks and identify process improvements to create efficiencies and reduce errors.
  • Provide coaching, training and direction to staff.
  • Maintain relationships with external and internal partners and clients to achieve goals.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are current and oversee their compliance.
  • Provide execution support to business‑driven initiatives and projects related to operations.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Problem‑solving, investigative and follow‑through abilities.
  • Solid understanding of portfolio accounting / investment operations activities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work with limited direction and function effectively in a team environment.

In‑Office Collaboration

Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in‑office time or different in‑office expectations; specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.

Base Pay and Compensation

The estimated base salary for this role is $66,700 – $75,000 per year. Compensation may vary based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. Most roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long‑term incentives depending on the role. A comprehensive benefits program supports health and well‑being, including vacation time, sick time, 401(k), and health, dental, and life insurances.
