Position SummaryThe Business Process Consultant partners closely with dealership management to optimize pricing strategies and maximize utilization of Service Pricing and CDK Service. The consultant delivers ongoing pricing strategy support and consultation to dealership clients, including monthly sustainment calls, performance reviews, and system updates.
Responsibilities- Leverage expertise in Fixed Operations, Service Pricing, and CDK Service to ensure system configurations align with client business requirements and industry best practices.
- Customize Service Pricing based on client needs.
- Provide ongoing consultation on pricing strategies and system utilization.
- Conduct 30‑day sustainment reviews to ensure system accuracy, adoption, and performance.
- Analyze performance reports against benchmarks to identify improvement opportunities and drive business outcomes.
- Manage client engagements, including scheduling and facilitating calls via Outlook, Microsoft Teams, PSA, and Salesforce.
- Track, update, and complete assigned tasks within Salesforce in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with peers and cross‑functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay current on automotive retail trends and apply insights to client engagements.
- Support team members in achieving both individual and team performance goals.
- Recommend best practices to improve dealership efficiency, margins, productivity, and revenue.
- Identify workflow gaps and develop solutions within CDK Service and Service Pricing environments.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to dealership leadership.
- Track KPIs relevant to the engagement (throughput, accuracy, productivity, compliance, financial health).
- Maintain documentation, visit summaries, action plans, and follow‑up reports.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- At least 5 years of experience with demonstrated success in the automotive industry.
- At least 2 years of experience within CDK Service and Service Pricing applications.
- Proven experience in process improvement or consulting.
- Strong analytical, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to follow up and maintain client interactions on a scheduled, consistent basis.
- Proficiency with MS Office products including Microsoft Office
365 and familiarity with Teams.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Prior consulting or performance improvement experience.
- Experience across multiple dealership departments.
- Familiarity with OEM programs, warranty processes, and compliance frameworks.
Must be able to remain in a stationary sitting or standing position for prolonged periods. Must be able to communicate and comprehend information. Must be able to use computer hardware, including mouse, for typing regularly.
SalarySalary Range: $65,500–$83,500. Total compensation may include annual performance bonus, benefits, and other incentive compensation plans.
