Job ObjectiveThe business development intern will assist the Lukos business development efforts by engaging with prospective clients, understanding the industry market, understanding the Federal contracting and acquisitions process, and assisting in the recruiting of employees or subject matter experts to assist in the capture of government contracts.
Responsibilities- Participate in required meetings
- Engage potential and current teammates for information gathering and networking
- Conduct competitive research and risk analysis
- Engage with HR and recruiting to create job descriptions and screen candidates
Education
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline - highly preferred
Certification & Education
- Secret clearance or higher - highly preferred
Experience
- SOF operator
- SOF enabler
- Staff experience at a Joint Headquarters
- Human performance research
- Contracting Officer or Acquisition Officer
- Military analytical programs (e.g., operations research, data analysis)
- Interagency experience (e.g., Department of State, USAID, DHS)
