Purchasing Career Professional
Seeking a Purchasing Career Professional to join our collaborative Operations Management & Facilities Services (OMFS) procurement team where you will support project teams with purchasing and subcontracting responsibilities, ensuring project schedules and expectations are met.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end‑to‑end procurement activities for assigned categories or business units.
- Ensure cost‑effective purchasing, supplier performance, and compliance with company policies.
- Work independently while contributing to strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Manage sourcing activities including RFQs/RFPs and supplier selection.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers.
- Execute and manage purchase orders in compliance with policies.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance (delivery, quality, service).
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders at the project site to align procurement strategies.
- Identify and implement cost‑saving opportunities.
- Resolve supply issues and mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance or mentorship to junior staff.
- Be willing to travel 10%.
This is a hybrid position: primarily working from home with one day per week in‑person at the local office. Parking costs associated with the in‑person requirement are covered under the salary.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5‑7 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
- Willingness to travel 10%.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Solid understanding of procurement lifecycle and sourcing strategies.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP/procurement systems.
- Knowledge of contracts and risk mitigation practices.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Project delivery knowledge supporting purchasing and subcontracting. - Attention to detail and accuracy.

CompensationThe base salary range for this position is $80,900.00 to $. Individual pay is determined by location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
