Pay & Benefits
The annual pay range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000. The role is also eligible for a performance bonus and overtime as needed. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, 401(k) matching, employee assistance programs, vacation and sick pay, and additional offerings.
LocationThis is a hybrid role based in Maple Grove, MN. Employees work in office Tuesday through Thursday and work from home Monday and Friday.
Role OverviewThe Deployment Coordinator is the principal liaison responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience and for deploying Field Service Technicians across the U.S. and Canada for Zeiss machine installations, calibrations, repairs, and relocation requests. The coordinator schedules technicians based on skill set and availability, coordinates with internal departments, and maintains accurate job records.
Responsibilities- Schedule field service technicians for machine installations, calibrations, repairs, pack & move, loaner equipment, and show machines in a specific geography.
- Communicate with customers about status and schedule of all service activities.
- Interface with Operations, Sales, Projects, Customer Care, Billing, Regional Service Managers, and Technical Support to ensure efficient scheduling.
- Review and process job requests, including purchase orders, pricing verification, quote generation, and documentation of special instructions.
- Collaborate with Technical Support to build relocation and repair quotes.
- Maintain open customer job files until completion and attach all relevant correspondence.
- Coordinate shipment and tracking of specialty tools with the Tools Department.
- Inform Regional Service Managers of crucial developments, potential escalations, and related information.
- Document all direct interactions with customers for company database reference.
- Minimum of 2 years in Service Dispatch and Support in a technical or troubleshooting environment, or other relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of associate degree, or at least 3 years of Customer Service experience, or other relevant experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Lync.
- Knowledge of Innosoft, SAP, CRM, or other dispatching software preferred.
- Experience with high‑touch communication to internal and external customers, service distributors, contractors, senior leadership, and service administration using telephone and e‑mail.
- Ability to multitask and handle multi‑level situations while delivering a customer‑centric experience.
- Proficient and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to change and a positive attitude.
