Client Relationship Manager (CRM)
• The Client Relationship Manager (CRM) is an individual contributor responsible for ensuring that the delivery of our service strategy exceeds or meets clients’ expectations. The role measures success on client satisfaction, retention, and plan optimization.
Responsibilities- Relationship Management:
Meets with client key stakeholders (Senior Executives, Treasury, Human Resources, Benefits, Advisors, Tier‑1+ partners) to build trust‑based relationships; consults on investment issues; attends Plan Investment & Administrative Committee meetings as appropriate; analyzes plan data and industry trends; develops strategic plan for design, product, and participant engagement solutions; leads cross‑functional service team; reports on effectiveness. - Client Retention and Contract Negotiations:
Manages RFIs, RFPs, benchmarking exercises, contract negotiations, pricing strategy, contract preparation and signing; negotiates Service Level Agreements. - Strategic Account Management:
Works consultatively to understand labor and benefits strategies; develops strategic plans; leads team execution; manages project scope, dates, costs; ensures client expectations. - Client Growth:
Identifies organic and cross‑sale opportunities; participates in sales process for new retirement business; presents Voya’s value proposition.
- 6+ years of client service relationship management for defined contribution plans.
- FINRA series 6 or 7 and 63 licensing required; industry certifications preferred.
- Strong understanding of corporate and tax‑exempt retirement plans; solid investment background.
- Proven client management, interpersonal, presentation, negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
25–40% of time. Work from home within designated territory, may sit in major metro area in GA, NC, SC, FL, TX, AZ, CA, CO, MN, IL, IN, IA, WI, MI.
CompensationAnnual base salary range: $100,070 – $157,470 USD. In addition to base salary, incentive opportunities (annual cash incentives, sales incentives, long‑term incentives) may be awarded.
