Internship Management Consulting - Transformational Change

We are BASF's global In-house Management Consultancy and focus on strategic projects that effectively drive change processes. Our topics range from growth, organizational development, and efficiency projects to acquisitions and divestitures. We are a diverse team with a strong team spirit and actively promote career development within BASF.

Starting March 16th or April 1st, 2023 you will be an intern for 3 - 6 months in our BASF Inhouse Management Consultancy - as a member of the Practice Group Transformational Change. You are free to choose the starting point of the internship:
We are always looking for interns and are quite flexible regarding the timing, so please always indicate your earliest possible start and your latest possible end date. Here is an overview over some of your responsibilities as an intern:

• You actively contribute to the design, management, development, and evaluation of interventions in large business transformations at BASF.
• After your onboarding, you will - as a valuable team member - support in our projects around change management, culture development, training, coaching, (large) group events, agile transformation, and digitalization.
• Together, we analyze trends and drive change to continuously develop BASF's business units.
• You assist with the user-friendly preparation, professional communication and implementation of our concepts for and with BASF executives - e.g. in the form of presentations, meetings and workshops, whiteboard applications and web solutions.

• You are a university student majoring either in psychology, social sciences, economics, humanities, or communication; you have earned at least 90 credits and and you are enrolled at a university
• First experience in a management consulting environment; previous experience in change management, digitalization, human resources development and communication is an asset
• You enjoy working independently, possess a good self-organization, analytical thinking, and have a talent for design
• You have a very good command of German and English as well as of MS Office applications

• Right from the start, we practice individual support and regular feedback. You will be a part of the team from Day 1.
• Our time management is flexible as we structure our projects ourselves. If possible, we work from home approx. 40-80% of the time.
• With us, you take on exciting and challenging tasks and, whenever possible, sub-projects in an interdisciplinary work environment.
