Senior Consultant Energy - Pricing & Sourcing

Responsibilities

As a consultant you will start at one of our clients and work on projects related to improving the financial results of sales and sourcing departments, defining organisational improvements, and selecting vendor IT systems. You will contribute to investment decisions that allow the business to deploy new activities or improve the efficiency of its processes. You will use business analysis, project management, and stakeholder management to support the transition of the energy sector toward the “New Energy Reality”.

You will collaborate with the Energy and Data Science teams and broaden your knowledge across other domains within the sector, such as grid owners and regulators.

• Completed Master’s Degree with strong analytical skills.
• At least 4 years of consulting experience in the commercial energy domain (energy suppliers and/or trading organisations).
• Familiarity with energy sourcing, pricing, trading, and portfolio management.
• Ability to bring stakeholders together across the organization to add value to client processes.
• In‑depth knowledge of developments in the energy market and their impact on the value chain.
• Strong interest in data and AI, with the ability to quickly build expertise in these areas.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Dutch;
  French and German are a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and a fast‑learning, communicative, flexible attitude.
• Non‑Dutch speaker will not be accepted.
