Lead Analyst – Business Systems

Responsibilities
  • Act independently under consultative direction, formulating, defining, and documenting system/application objectives through research and fact‑finding to develop or modify complex systems/applications that support the actuarial valuations and/or investments divisions.
  • Prepare detailed specifications from which system/application will be developed and maintained.
  • Gather, document, and analyze requirements for highly complex, multi‑platform applications and perform key portions of the system development lifecycle.
  • Maintain documentation, project tracking, and key stakeholder reporting metrics.
  • Perform highly complex system/application testing to ensure delivery meets business and end‑user expectations.
  • Provide day‑to‑day support to existing applications and troubleshoot system/application performance issues as they arise.
  • Act as the primary liaison between key business area and system teams, communicating project feasibility, status, and issues to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with functional stakeholders and the team to facilitate creation of project plans in accordance with business‑ranked priorities.
Qualifications
  • 8–10+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst or equivalent experience.
  • High collaborative team skills; trusted leader able to provide oversight and guidance to a team.
  • Participate in leadership‑initiated vendor engagement to aid in resolution of contract personnel issues.
  • Ability to forge and maintain strong business partnerships.

Salary

Base Salary Range: $96,100.00 – $

Remote / Hybrid Requirements

Remote and hybrid positions require reliable high‑speed internet with a wired connection and a dedicated workspace in your home. You must have reliable connectivity from an internet service provider that is fiber, cable or DSL internet. Necessary computer equipment will be provided. If you do not have an adequate home work environment and the required internet connection, you may be required to work in the office.
