Position: Senior Business Analyst Hybrid Role at AESO
Drive impactful changes in Alberta's electricity market as a Senior Business Analyst with AESO. This hybrid position centers around the implementation of a new Market Management System (MMS).

As a Senior Functional Business Analyst, you will collaborate with stakeholders and report to the Manager of Market Management Systems. Your responsibilities include defining product backlogs, facilitating stakeholder workshops, and preparing for the operational readiness of the MMS. Your analytical capabilities will inform strategic insights and drive key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct stakeholder workshops to validate essential business requirements

• Define and oversee product backlogs with user stories

• Facilitate System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing

• Analyze data to garner KPIs and business insights

• Maintain detailed documentation and deliverables

Requirements:

• Business Administration degree or equivalent

• 10+ years in business analysis or a related field

• Experience in large-scale system implementations

• Strong skills in SQL and data visualization

• Effective communication for diverse audiences
