Category Analyst Customer Service Rosemont, Illinois

This is a remote position. The ideal candidate should be prepared to travel up to 15% of the time.

• Develop, track, and execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories
• Analyze specific product lines, product assortment, sourcing options, profitability, and market trends to identify cost savings and profitability
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve any supply issues for products procured from global and domestic locations.
• Assist Category Management Team with key vendor activities and functions. Conduct business reviews with vendors for various categories and operating divisions.
• Negotiate supply agreements to secure the highest quality goods and the right value based on market changes, supply chain movement, and various product offerings.
• Develop and communicate changes and updates to the Supplier Agreement to different entities involved with Category Management
• The ability to travel is up to 50% as required based on job requirements and customer support needs
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's Degree with 2 to 4 years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 5 to 7 plus years of specific experience.
