Overview
OPEN JOB:
Dental Practice Sell-Side Advisor
LOCATION: fully remote
ON TARGET EARNINGS: $550,000 - $700,000
Compensation- COMPENSATION:
Target Base Salary of $100,000 (recoverable draw) + performance-based commissions (9-14% of the deal) + vested commission structure
This is a remote role, but it requires occasional calls in the early mornings or late evenings to sync with our global team.

Head of Dental
- Ideal candidate has experience in deal advisory, sales and strong financial acumen.
- 5+ years of experience in finance, investment banking, private equity, or equity sales
- Directly closed multi-million-dollar transactions ($1M+ deal size)
- Fluent in EBITDA-based valuations and financial normalization
- Comfortable in a performance-driven role where the majority of compensation is tied to closed deals
- A leading healthcare sales-side advisor and professional services firm. The firm specializes in helping healthcare practice owners successfully navigate transitions and exits.
- The Dental Sell-Side Advisor is the primary engine for converting dental leads into high-value signed contracts.
- You will navigate the complex landscape of private equity-backed Dental Service Organizations (DSOs) and act as a strategic advisor for multi-million dollar transitions.
- This role requires a sophisticated blend of financial literacy, local market credibility, and the ability to build deep trust with practitioners as they transition their life’s work.
- As part of a distributed global team, you will occasionally participate in meetings outside of standard local business hours to ensure synchronous collaboration with our partners worldwide.
- End-to-End Deal Management:
Manage a high-volume pipeline and consistently deliver signed contracts within the dental vertical. - Valuation & Analysis:
Perform dental-specific valuations using US metrics, EBITDA normalization, and clinical metric interpretation (e.g., active patient counts and case acceptance). - DSO Relationship Leadership:
Establish and maintain "First-Look" status with major US Dental Service Organizations and private equity groups. - Deal Structuring:
Navigate complex M&A components including "Holdbacks," "Earn-outs," and "Equity Rolls". - Data Integrity:
Ensure 100% accuracy in P&L gathering and tax return analysis before presenting to senior executives. - Vertical Penetration:
Secure deals across targeted sub-verticals, including General Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Oral Surgery - Global
Collaboration:
Our team spans several time zones. This role requires occasional early morning or late evening calls. In exchange, we offer a high degree of autonomy and flexibility during the standard workday to ensure you maintain a healthy work-life balance

You have an eye for analytical rigor, ensuring no detail is missed in financial reporting or deal structuring. - Strong Communicator:
You speak the specific language of American dental practice management and can build immediate credibility with US-based dentists. - Relentless:
You are momentum-driven and results-oriented, always pushing to move deals through the pipeline.
- Over 5 years of experience and proven background in finance, investment banking, or equity sales. Particular background in dentistry and dental practice brokerage is a huge plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance or related field
- Strong negotiation skills and proficiency in US dental M&A deal structures.
- Deep understanding of the "Buy-Box" criteria for major US groups like Heartland, Aspen, or Pacific Dental.
- Ability to analyze clinical metrics and dental-specific benchmarks (e.g., payroll % to revenue, lab fee ratios)
- Proficiency in CRM management and digital tools to maintain pipeline discipline
- Revenue Generation: You drive the conversion of leads into contracts with an average value of $4M–$6M USD.
- DSO Acquisition Expertise: You navigate the complex deal structures of private equity buyers, ensuring optimal outcomes for our clients.
- Market Authority: You position the firm as a premier source for high-revenue practices within the US dental market.
- Maintains Deal Momentum: You provide the constant negotiation and local market knowledge required to hit a target of 15–20 signed contracts annually.
