KCNA Procurement Sr. Specialist, Packaging - Cartons

Overview

KCNA Procurement Sr. Specialist, Packaging - Cartons role is responsible for managing local supplier relationships and executing category strategy within the packaging supply chain. The position supports regional sourcing events, drives global category initiatives, and monitors supplier performance across all contract activities.

• Execute category strategy & implementation plan created by Regional Category Lead
• Manage local supplier relationships within sub‑category, cluster or country focus area
• Provide input to regional category strategy based on market dynamics, supplier landscape, and business needs
• Support regional sourcing events with Agile Squads
• Coordinate with regional business stakeholders on category needs and strategy, including collecting business requirements
• Lead execution of global category strategic initiatives in the region
• Assist in creation and maintenance of category knowledge and processes to keep strategies relevant and up‑to‑date
• Monitor supplier performance indicators and initiate supplier reviews as required to drive improvement and reduce risk
• Ensure compliance with K‑C Policies and internal controls
• Build trust and credibility with suppliers by demonstrating integrity, commitment and results orientation
• Maintain effective business relationships with all suppliers and stakeholders through clear, concise communication

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in business, supply chain, or related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in Procurement, preferably in category management
• Intellectually curious with strong analytical and business acumen
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to influence across the organization
• Strong project management, process improvement, analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a heavily matrixed organization
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time

• Base pay range: 105,740 – 130,620 USD (U.S. locations only)
