• Lead a team of Strategic Sourcing Specialists.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for instrument services and aftermarket parts to optimize cost savings, quality and supplier performance.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and establish partnerships.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Develop a supplier management program and monitor supplier performance, resolve issues and implement improvements to enhance quality, service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
• Analyze pricing and cost structures to identify value opportunities for Perkin Elmer and its customers.
• Implement value-driving initiatives and track value achieved through sourcing activities.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers.
• Ensure contracts are compliant with legal and organizational requirements.
• Monitor contract compliance throughout the supplier relationship.

• Equivalent of 8+ years of combined sourcing, strategy development, or data analytics/insights experience.
• Ability to analyze large data sets, identify trends and develop action plans based on findings.
• Deep understanding of vendor/supplier communications and best practices.
• Thorough knowledge of developing, deploying and awarding service contracts (RFP).
• Strong negotiation skills and buying strategies leading to positive financial results.
• Experience in a similar or related industry.
