What you’ll do here:
- Lead a team to analyze sales data, review and interpret complex data sets, and identify trends and patterns to inform decision‑making processes.
- Evaluate market trends by conducting in‑depth market research and analysis to ensure sales strategies align with evolving customer needs and market conditions.
- Develop a reporting strategy and drive the team to build sales reports by composing, developing, and maintaining dashboards and reporting frameworks using Power BI and Excel to monitor important metrics, sales performance, pipeline health, quota attainment, and efficiency indicators.
- Leverage AI and automation tools to improve lead scoring, pipeline analysis, and customer insights.
- Support the sales team by improving GTM collaboration on account and product strategies, increasing seller confidence and time selling, and supporting sales goal attainment through access to leading and lagging indicators.
- Detail operational processes, AI use cases, and reporting methodologies in partnership with enterprise data analytics analysts.
- Optimize access to data and ensure quality, consistency, and structure required for accurate sales reporting, target measurement, and performance insights.
- Collaborate across departments to align sales initiatives, data definitions, and analytical methodologies with broader organizational objectives.
- Provide actionable insights by delivering data‑driven analysis and translate sophisticated data into clear, compelling stories highlighting key performance drivers, business implications, and recommendations to improve sales and grow the business.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, data analysis, or related field. - Experience:
8+ years in sales analysis, business intelligence, or a related role. - Technical skills:
Proficiency in Excel, CRM platforms, Gong, SQL, and data visualization tools like Power BI. - Analytical skills:
Strong ability to interpret and analyze complex data. - Familiarity with AI tools, automation platforms, and generative AI applications.
- Communication skills:
Strong data storytelling skills and ability to distill complex analyses into concise, executive‑ready narratives. - Problem‑solving:
Adept at identifying issues and recommending effective solutions. - Time management:
Ability to lead multiple projects and meet deadlines. - Certifications:
Certifications in data analysis or CRM platforms are a plus. - Collaboration:
Experience working with cross‑functional teams to achieve business goals.
The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range. In this position, you will be eligible to participate in the company’s discretionary incentive bonus program. The bonus target amount is not guaranteed and is dependent on individual performance and overall company results:
