Customs(Zollprozesse) Operations Manager (f/m/x)

Join our hands-on customs operations team where collaboration truly matters. While customs is often paperwork-heavy, we take a technology-first approach by automating processes and building smarter solutions for cross-border trade.

In this role, you will work as an individual contributor within our customs operations team, playing a key role in ensuring compliant, scalable, and customer-focused customs processes. You will work across both import and export, will gain a holistic view and the chance to make a real impact every day. This role is based in Berlin.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Owning our customs processes, ensuring everyday operations for our customers within the EU, UK, Norway, and Switzerland.
  • Using our customs platform and automation tools to classify products and determine duties & taxes.
  • Steering and interacting with external stakeholders, including freight forwarders, hubs, warehouses, and customs brokers, while acting as a contact for customs authorities to ensure operational excellence.
  • Partnering with our customers on customs-related topics to enable their business.
  • Developing and implementing processes, systems, and guidelines tailored to the needs of e-commerce merchants to ensure operational excellence and full compliance.

This is what you need to succeed:

  • +3 years of experience in customs operations or customs process management.
  • Solid knowledge of export and import regulations.
  • A passion for developing innovative customs solutions that create real business value.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional proficiency in German (C1 or higher) and English.
