The Michigan Department of Education (MDE) provides leadership, resources, support, and guidance to state schools and oversees federal nutrition programs. The Office of Nutrition Services administers programs such as National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs and various USDA commodity programs.
ResponsibilitiesThis position serves as the fiscal recognized resource for processing payment of meal claim reimbursements and collecting and analyzing financial reports required by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) for the Fiscal and Administrative Services unit in the Office of Nutrition Services (ONS).
Location & Work ArrangementPosition is located at the John Hannah Building, 608 West Allegan Street, Lansing, Michigan. Hybrid flexible schedule of in-person and remote work arrangement.
