Role Overview

This role is responsible for managing day-to‑day execution across product harmonization work streams, including SKU rationalization, supplier alignment, category standardization, product transition planning, and product data governance. The Project Manager will build, maintain, and manage Smartsheet‑based project plans; coordinate cross‑functional activities; drive accountability across stakeholders; facilitate regular status meetings; and proactively identify risks, blockers, and red flags before they escalate. This role requires strong project discipline, clear communication, and the ability to work across Category Management, Supply Chain, Pricing, IT, Operations, Sales, and other functional teams to keep product harmonization initiatives moving forward.

Duration: 12 to 14 months

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, project management, data management, or a related field preferred.
  • Project Management Professional certification preferred; CAPM or equivalent project management training considered.
  • 2 to 3 years of project planning, project coordination, or project management experience.
  • Experience managing cross‑functional projects, timelines, task owners, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.
  • Experience working with product data, databases, item files, or structured data sets preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple work streams, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and navigate across functions and levels of the organization.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare status updates, meeting notes, action logs, and executive‑ready summaries.
  • Strong accountability mindset with the ability to hold teams to deadlines, expedite risks early, and drive issues to resolution.
Primary Duties
  • Support the Director of Product Harmonization in planning, coordinating, and executing product harmonization initiatives across the combined product portfolios.
  • Manage and maintain product harmonization workplans, playbooks, and templates; develop additional documentation as needed to support SKU rationalization, category standardization, supplier alignment, and product transition activities.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements in partnership with the Director of Product Harmonization and functional stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans that identify key activities, dependencies, task owners, milestones, timelines, and required resources.
  • Build, maintain, and manage project plans in Smartsheet, ensuring tasks, owners, due dates, dependencies, and status updates are accurate, current, and visible to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Category Management, Supply Chain, Pricing, IT, Operations, Sales, and other functional teams to align priorities, resolve dependencies, and keep teams accountable to workstream commitments.
  • Support SKU rationalization, supplier alignment, and product data governance activities by coordinating data requests, cross‑functional inputs, stakeholder reviews, meeting preparation, decision documentation, issue tracking, clean‑up activities, action items, and execution follow‑up.
  • Work with the Director of Product Harmonization and stakeholders to identify the people, tools, data, and process inputs required to execute each workstream effectively.
  • Plan, schedule, and facilitate regular project status meetings; prepare agendas, capture decisions and action items, assign owners, and distribute meeting notes in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a consistent communication cadence with the Director of Product Harmonization and relevant stakeholders regarding progress, risks, open issues, upcoming milestones, and required decisions.
  • Prepare project status reports, progress summaries, action logs, risk registers, and executive‑ready updates for review by the Director of Product Harmonization.
