Services Procurement & SoW Specialist

Our client, a Global Fortune 50 organization and one of the world's largest distributors of healthcare systems, medical supplies & pharmaceutical products, seeks an accomplished Services Procurement & SoW Specialist.

Candidate must be authorized to work in the USA without requiring sponsorship.

Location:

Alpharetta, GA 30009 or Irving, TX 75039.

(candidate may be based at either location and is only required to work from one office).

Duration: 10 months contract with possibility of extension.

Notes
  • Work Arrangement:
    Hybrid (candidates are required to work onsite 1‑2 days per month at their designated office location, either Alpharetta GA or Las Colinas / Irving, TX). The selected candidate will be assigned to one office location based on their local residence and will not be expected to support both locations.
  • Work schedule:

    Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST (flexibility available).
  • Pay Rate: $40.00/hr on W2.
Description
  • The SoW (Statement of Work) Specialist is responsible for the end‑to‑end management of SoWs and SoW revisions, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant execution across the full lifecycle.
  • This role plays a critical part in supporting Procurement Operations by reviewing, redlining, validating, and initiating approval workflows for SoW contracts, as well as coordinating legal reviews when required.
  • The SoW Specialist serves as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, suppliers, and internal partners, working closely with Sourcing & Procurement (S&P), Legal, Risk and Privacy, and OSW Operations team members to ensure seamless processing and positive stakeholder experiences.
  • Success in this role requires proactive communication, strong collaboration within a team environment, sound judgment, and a high level of accountability.
  • Assume full end to end ownership of SoWs and SoW revisions, ensuring clear, timely, and proactive communication throughout the lifecycle.
  • Review, redline, and analyze SoW terms and conditions to ensure alignment with procurement standards, rate cards, and company policies.
  • Initiate and manage approval workflows within Fieldglass, driving timely progression and resolution of issues.
  • Facilitate and coordinate legal reviews when required, ensuring compliance with legal, risk, and privacy requirements.
  • Partner closely with Sourcing & Procurement teams, shared services partners, and suppliers to deliver consistent and high‑quality outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers and business stakeholders, setting clear expectations and providing regular status updates.
  • Coordinate routing of approved, executable SoWs and SoW revisions for signature via Docu Sign.
  • Identify risks, issues, or gaps early and collaborate with the team to drive resolution and maintain momentum.
  • Deliver outstanding stakeholder experiences by taking ownership of issues and ensuring they are resolved efficiently and professionally.
  • Support education and adherence to Sourcing & Procurement policies and OSW standards.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to process enhancements and best practices across OSW SoW operations.
  • Maintain accountability for accuracy, quality, and timeliness of all assigned contract activities.
  • Operates as an engaged and reliable member of the OSW Operations team, contributing to shared success and supporting coverage needs as required.
  • Communicates proactively, clearly, and professionally with internal partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates strong ownership and follow through on commitments.
  • Collaborates effectively across functions and levels, including senior business leaders.
  • Embraces feedback and participates in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintains transparency and consistency in execution and decision making.
