Position Overview

Responsibilities- Serve as the recognized resource and lead for design, development and improvement of Problem Gambling Program contract compliance with complex laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Liaise between MDHHS divisions (SUGE, BGP, and others) and other MDHHS portions.
- Maintain and update program guidance to ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor program spending and grantee financial and work reporting to ensure compliance.
- Work directly with grantees, in partnership with SUGE, to address needed corrections.
- Develop applicable language for grant agreements and appropriate reporting templates.
- A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions.
- A high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
- Suitable lighting, furniture, and utilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in any major.
- Three years of professional experience, including one year equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service.
Education and Experience
- Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and the equivalent of at least two years of full-time active‑duties experience at or above the E‑6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement.
Position Location:
400 S Pine St, Lansing, MI. Remote work and alternate or hybrid work schedule requests may be considered. Remote or hybrid candidates must complete work within Michigan.
