Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in data analysis, market risk, and credit risk. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in wholesale risk management and the ability to provide actionable insights through thorough analysis and documentation. This role requires a detail oriented individual who can effectively communicate complex information and collaborate with cross functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and assess wholesale risk, market risk, and credit risk to identify trends and provide recommendations.
- Understand and document the adjustment processes, including the Maker, Checker, and Approver roles.
- Provide recommendations for moving requirements into mainstream applications based on thorough documentation.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze data and create reports.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy in reporting.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Mandatory Skills
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on Data Analysis.
- Strong understanding of Market Risk and Credit Risk.
- Expertise in advanced Excel functions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Preferred Skills
- Technical experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
- Experience in documenting business requirements and processes.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in business analysis, particularly in risk management.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
