Barfield, a subsidiary of Air France Industries KLM Engineering, seeks a dedicated Pricing Analyst to support the Pricing department. The role involves leading RFP responses, performing cost analysis, and ensuring competitive pricing in the aviation sector.

• Cost Analysis
  • Perform data analysis to understand repair costs for specific components and technologies.
  • Update and enrich the cost database.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Analyze customer feedback on past RFPs and market data to estimate market levels and ensure competitiveness.
• Answer to Request for Proposals (RFP)
  • Lead complete RFP process, validate and respond on time.
  • Understand RFP specifics impacting pricing: customer profile, contracts, OEM terms, restrictions, sales strategy, technical requirements.
  • Prepare price proposals with conditions, review contractual terms for compliance.
  • Perform risk assessment when building prices and win/loss analysis.
  • Communicate with stakeholders (Sales, Production, Purchasing, Asset Management) to comply with RFP specifications.
  • Lead presentations of defined pricing and hypotheses to management for validation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics or Business Administration + 2-3 years related experience.
• Technical knowledge of aviation components and industry.
• Expert proficiency in Excel, Access, and SQL; VBA a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with large datasets, databases, and queries.
• Detail-oriented, motivated, curious, proactive, and organized.
• Able to work under pressure, flexible and agile to manage multiple analyses simultaneously.
• Teamwork and strong communication skills; capable of presenting to high management.
• Project management experience.
• Ability to work from home and from the company office.
