• Assist the Cost Manager in ensuring project costs are effectively managed.
• Help prepare cost estimates, plans, and incorporate benchmarking data for review.
• Participate in design team meetings, assess cost implications, and help implement agreed outcomes.
• Contribute to the pre‑contract process.
• Prepare and manage change order logs, invoice logs, and detailed cost reports.
• Attend client meetings with senior colleagues and document key discussion points and action items.
• Assist with measurements and pricing research for development appraisals and qualification reviews.
• Remote:
  This role allows for remote work for the majority of your work hours.
• There is some in‑person time for collaboration, learning, and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. We will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

• Coursework in construction or cost management.
• Basic understanding of construction projects and cost principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for simple calculations and data tracking.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn structured cost processes.
• Effective communication skills to support coordination with project teams.
• Organization and ability to manage multiple tasks with guidance.
• Eagerness to learn cost management tools, systems, and industry best practices.

• Project Management Experience.
• Team player with the ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing.
• Organized and detail‑oriented.

$20 – $25 an hour.

Compensation at Accentre varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
