Business Operations Manager
Tempe, AZ | $100K–$130K + Bonus + Benefits
A growing wealth management platform is seeking a Business Operations Manager to support operations, process improvement, reporting, and cross-functional business initiatives.
This is a strong fit for someone with experience in financial services operations who enjoys improving workflows, leading projects, working with data, and helping leadership make better business decisions.
What You’ll Be Doing- Lead cross-functional business initiatives from discovery through implementation
- Review current workflows and identify gaps, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
- Build process maps, business cases, project plans, trackers, and RACI matrices
- Partner with Operations, Technology, and Business Intelligence teams on dashboards, metrics, and reporting
- Document business requirements, data definitions, assumptions, and project needs in Jira
- Translate operational and technical concepts into clear business-friendly language
- Support change management, stakeholder alignment, and project prioritization
- Present findings and recommendations to business units and leadership
- 3+ years of operations, business analysis, project management, or process improvement experience
- Financial services experience required
- Broker-dealer, RIA, custodian, clearing firm, or wealth management home office experience strongly preferred
- Strong process improvement, workflow mapping, gap analysis, and documentation skills
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, Smartsheet, Jira, Excel, or similar tools
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Technology, BI, and leadership
- Bachelor’s degree required
- MBA, PMP, Six Sigma, or data analytics certification preferred
