Business Operations Manager

Tempe, AZ | $100K–$130K + Bonus + Benefits

A growing wealth management platform is seeking a Business Operations Manager to support operations, process improvement, reporting, and cross-functional business initiatives.

This is a strong fit for someone with experience in financial services operations who enjoys improving workflows, leading projects, working with data, and helping leadership make better business decisions.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead cross-functional business initiatives from discovery through implementation
  • Review current workflows and identify gaps, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
  • Build process maps, business cases, project plans, trackers, and RACI matrices
  • Partner with Operations, Technology, and Business Intelligence teams on dashboards, metrics, and reporting
  • Document business requirements, data definitions, assumptions, and project needs in Jira
  • Translate operational and technical concepts into clear business-friendly language
  • Support change management, stakeholder alignment, and project prioritization
  • Present findings and recommendations to business units and leadership
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of operations, business analysis, project management, or process improvement experience
  • Financial services experience required
  • Broker-dealer, RIA, custodian, clearing firm, or wealth management home office experience strongly preferred
  • Strong process improvement, workflow mapping, gap analysis, and documentation skills
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, Smartsheet, Jira, Excel, or similar tools
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Technology, BI, and leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • MBA, PMP, Six Sigma, or data analytics certification preferred
