Elevate privacy compliance as the Provincial Access Officer in Mount Pearl Square with remote work options. This role requires expertise in access legislation and strong managerial skills.
The Manager of Information Services is pivotal in ensuring adherence to the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act and the Personal Health Information Act. You will coordinate responses to inquiries, manage internal documents, and promote a privacy-conscious culture. This permanent full-time role demands a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of progressive management experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate organizational compliance with access legislation
• Liaise with external bodies during investigations
• Direct access information initiatives
• Review and collate documentation for requests
• Build relationships with diverse stakeholders
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required;
Master’s preferred
• 5 years minimum in management roles
• Knowledge of ATIPPA and PHIA laws
• Access and Privacy certification is a plus
• Proven communication and project management abilities
Drive compliance and lead access initiatives, fostering positive relations in Mount Pearl.
