Role OverviewWe are seeking a Manager to join our consulting team. As a Manager, you will lead teams in addressing strategic challenges for leading healthcare providers, including hospitals, health systems, and academic medical centers. You will guide the development of innovative strategies, growth initiatives, and transformative partnerships that shape the future of healthcare. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a business style that is entrepreneurial, team-oriented, hands‑on, and collaborative.
Responsibilities- Lead problem structuring, analysis, and synthesis.
- Lead the development of hypotheses that will help clients solve their innovation related business challenges.
- Develop and execute a detailed work plan for the entire project.
- Ability to seamlessly shift gears and constantly reset the team’s direction with frequently-changing client needs.
- Oversee the qualitative and quantitative research efforts of the team.
- Develop end‑to‑end documents with logical storyline and flow.
- Interact closely with client teams.
- Prepare and own development of all client deliverables.
- Lead client meetings including the presentation of key insights.
- Contribute directly to business and firm development.
- Work closely with principals and partners to support business development efforts.
- Actively manage the individual professional development of junior employees.
- Extensive experience as an external management consultant with a top consulting firm, specializing in delivering strategic solutions for healthcare provider organization clients.
- Proven leadership in enterprise‑level strategic engagements for healthcare provider organizations, including long‑ and near‑term strategic planning, growth initiatives, enterprise transformation, market entry, service line strategy, M&A/strategic partnerships, and system‑level margin or cost optimization.
- Deep healthcare provider industry expertise with hands‑on experience serving a variety of client organizations such as hospital systems, academic medical centers, ambulatory surgery centers, integrated delivery networks, and physician groups/practices.
