Deposit & Lending Group Product Manager is responsible for driving the vision, roadmap and overall direction of the respective product suite and related initiatives. The role requires collaboration across teams, deep domain expertise in banking, treasury and/or Fin Tech, and a delivery-focused mindset with strong planning and communication skills.
Hybrid work arrangement - on-site Mon through Thu in Kansas City metropolitan area, with remote work Fri. Eligible remote candidates must be located within the United States.
How you will spend your time- Establish thought leadership and 1-3 year strategic vision for Product Roadmap, develop business cases and related artifacts to drive support for new products and enhancements, and communicate roadmap to stakeholders.
- Provide leadership in developing pricing strategies that drive growth and profitability.
- Cultivate strong relationships across IT, LOB, Risk, Marketing, and other working teams, maintaining forums to drive transparency and share execution results.
- Work closely with cross‑functional partners and clients to understand needs, industry changes and drive meaningful solutions for clients and revenue growth.
- Provide leadership and oversight to project teams, including setting goals, objectives, deliverables, constraints and issues.
- Monitor project completion to ensure goals are achieved, and demonstrate ability to manage multiple simultaneous initiatives to completion.
- Manage day‑to‑day priorities by working with functional partners and providing support to front, middle and back office.
- Create clear product epics and requirements, validate delivery against those requirements, owning work from start to finish.
- Own and manage product backlog, expressing items to align with product strategy.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to assess product performance, operational impact and profit contribution.
- Participate in industry events and stay abreast of competition and emerging trends.
- Collaborate with marketing to build go‑to‑market strategies and lead campaigns to drive product adoption and growth.
- Undergraduate degree and at least 10 years of related experience, preferably in Product Management in Financial Services.
- Advanced understanding of industry, technology, marketing and product trends.
- Demonstrated advanced leadership qualities and ability to influence and affect change.
- Strong management skills (staff, project, product) and ability to direct day‑to‑day operations through planning and delegation.
- Effective problem‑solving skills to make decisions with limited precedents or guidelines.
- Strong knowledge of evolving technologies.
- In‑depth knowledge of related product industry landscape.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory issues.
- In‑depth knowledge of banking systems and applicable technologies.
- Graduate degree.
- Previous experience managing a significant project budget.
