Work Hours:

Full‑time (40 hours) Day Shift with on‑call responsibilities. Hybrid – remote work most days of the week. Travel: 25% across THR locations with mileage reimbursement.

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 7 years’ experience required.
• Or Bachelor’s Degree in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Emergency Management or related field with 3 years’ experience required.
• Experience:
  
  3 years in disaster recovery, business continuity, emergency management or related fields with Bachelor’s Degree; or 7 years without degree. Healthcare experience is preferred.

• Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) – 12 months required.
• Current CBCP certification preferred.

• Program Governance & Regulatory Compliance: Serve as subject‑matter expert in healthcare preparedness and resilience, ensuring plans align with CMS, TJC, NFPA, OSHA, and NIST standards. Support internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance assessments. Apply in‑depth knowledge of healthcare preparedness best practices.
• Business Continuity Planning & Execution: Collaborate with leaders across the organization to support operational readiness through BCM activities using the Fusion Risk Management platform. Schedule and facilitate Business Impact Analysis (BIA) sessions, documenting RTOs and identifying required recovery resources. Identify and support implementation of recovery strategies that allow operations at partial or reduced capacity during disruptions.
• Training, Exercises & Program Awareness: Support the development and implementation of enterprise‑wide BCM training and awareness programs. Coordinate and facilitate system‑ and department‑level exercises annually or after significant events. Partner with leaders to support ongoing training and program adoption across all facilities.
• Technology, Data & Reporting: Demonstrate working knowledge of Fusion Risk Management or similar BCM platforms (e.g., Archer, Castellan, Service Now BCM). Administer system tools and generate metrics, reports, and dashboards to communicate operational insights, including critical dependencies. Provide clear and concise reporting to leadership to support informed decision‑making.
• Incident Support, Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Provide incident support during emergencies as a subject‑matter expert; 24/7 on‑call availability may be required. Partner with Emergency Management, ITS, and other stakeholders to align BCM, incident response, cybersecurity, and IT disaster recovery efforts. Develop and maintain BCP documentation, ensuring accuracy of call trees, succession plans, exercises, and updates. Resolve complex problems by analyzing multiple sources of information, communicating effectively in group settings, and building consensus across teams.
  
  Serve on committees and initiatives to promote a culture of preparedness and support continuous improvement of the BCM program.
