Flex Work Consulting seeks a part-time Policy Consultant for a government Career Development division's apprenticeship initiatives. This 3-month role will involve interjurisdictional coordination, briefing notes, and policy options analysis. Candidates should be comfortable working independently and possess a solid background in labour market, apprenticeship, or skilled trades policy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct apprenticeship and trades certification policy work

• Coordinate interjurisdictional apprenticeship initiatives

• Prepare briefing notes and decision papers

• Analyze policy options for effective decision-making

• Liaise with stakeholders and government clients

Requirements:

• Experience in labour market or apprenticeship policy

• Government policy experience is preferred

• Strong written communication skills for policy documents

• Ability to work independently and remotely

• Part-time availability for a 3-month engagement
