Operations Manager
Overview
Operations & Strategy, formerly known as Administrative Solutions, provides management and oversight for key administrative and technical services that enable CDHS to achieve its goals. It encompasses Human Resources, Facilities Management, Audit, Business Innovation, Technology and Security, Emergency Management, Legal, Performance Management, Communications, Project Management, and Leadership & Organizational Development.
Hybrid Work AssignmentMinimum of 2 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities- Supervise Data Management professionals, evaluate technical issues, consult with team members and customers, formulate decisions and execute solutions.
- Perform and oversee development, maintenance, and improvement of the data warehouse; maintain critical budget‑management, personnel, clinical, and forensic information systems; migrate ancillary MS Access databases to an OIT‑operated SQL environment; and provide guidance for ad‑hoc management and analysis development.
- Collaborate and support the Electronic Health Record (EHR) team in design, maintenance, and improvement of the EHR.
- Direct and manage system upgrades and maintenance, perform system analyses, assign tasks, design EHR reports, inquiries, and input screens to Data Management professionals, and oversee development of routine and ad‑hoc reporting mechanisms; serve as the lead technical liaison between BITS/Health IT and OIT, other state agencies, and related sub‑contractors.
- Eight (8) years of professional experience in a technical role in project management, data operations, data management, or a related occupation with a minimum of two (2) years as a supervisor or manager.
- OR a combination of related education and/or experience in management, data operations, data management or other relevant occupation equal to eight (8) years with at least two (2) years as a supervisor or manager.

- Standard background check and reference check required.
- Must be a current State of Colorado resident at the time of application and remain a resident throughout the duration of employment.
- Must possess a valid, non‑restricted Colorado driver’s license.
