Iron Bow Technologies is seeking a Contracts Administrator to support the review, negotiation, administration, and execution of federal contracts, subcontracts, and commercial agreements in a fast‑paced government contracting environment. This role serves as a key business partner to Sales, Finance, Business Development & Proposals (B&P), Services, and other internal stakeholders by helping facilitate compliant and efficient transactions while identifying and mitigating contractual risk.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight. This position performs first‑level contract review and coordinates internal approvals and escalations as needed to support business objectives and customer requirements.
This position is approved for remote work with occasional visits to Iron Bow’s headquarters in Herndon, VA.

- Review, draft, negotiate, and administer a variety of agreements, including customer contracts, subcontracts, non‑disclosure agreements (NDAs), teaming agreements, purchase orders, and supplier/vendor agreements.
- Support both prime contract and subcontract administration activities for federal government opportunities and awards.
- Perform first‑level contractual review and risk assessment, identifying issues requiring escalation to management or legal counsel.
- Coordinate and manage internal review and approval workflows across Sales, Finance, Services, B&P, Procurement, and leadership teams.
- Analyze contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, including FAR, DFARS, TAA, and BAA requirements.
- Review solicitations, bid requests, and contractual documents to identify key contractual obligations, flowdowns, risks, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare contract redlines and support negotiations to help achieve business objectives while appropriately mitigating risk.
- Support contract modifications, amendments, extensions, renewals, and other contractual changes as required.
- Maintain accurate and organized contract records and documentation within contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems and internal repositories.
- Ensure timely execution and delivery of contracts, proposals, quotations, and customer communications.
- Partner closely with Sales and internal stakeholders to facilitate efficient contract processing and responsive customer support.
- Manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Assist with continuous process improvement initiatives related to contract administration and workflow efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contracts Management, Legal Studies, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 2–4 years of experience in federal contract administration, preferably supporting DoD and civilian agency contracts.
- Experience supporting both prime contracts and subcontracts.
- Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, TAA, and BAA requirements.
- Experience reviewing contractual terms and coordinating internal approvals and escalations.
- Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
