Role Description
The Key Account Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Dallas, TX, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for managing and growing relationships with key contractor accounts, ensuring that clients maximize the value of SLM’s labor management platform and services. Day‑to‑day work includes understanding client workforce needs, overseeing account performance, coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues, and identifying opportunities for improved labor strategy and adoption of platform features.
The Key Account Manager will prepare business reviews, track account metrics, and support planning for upcoming projects to strengthen client outcomes and satisfaction. This position also involves proactive communication, contract and renewal support, and collaboration with operations and product teams to address client feedback.
- Strong Account Management and Key Accounts experience, including managing complex client relationships and driving retention and growth.
- Effective Analytical Skills to interpret labor, compliance, and performance data and translate insights into practical recommendations.
- Business Planning capabilities to support forecasting, project planning, and strategic account development.
- Proven Customer Service skills, with the ability to respond promptly, manage expectations, and build trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present to client and internal audiences.
- Experience working with technology platforms or SaaS solutions, ideally in construction, staffing, workforce management, or related fields.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, prioritize multiple accounts, and collaborate cross‑functionally.
