This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Program Manager/Senior Contract Specialist based in the United States.

This role is a high-impact leadership opportunity supporting complex federal acquisition operations within a mission-driven public sector environment. The Program Manager / Senior Contract Specialist oversees end-to-end contract lifecycle management while ensuring compliance with federal acquisition regulations and internal policies. Acting as the primary liaison with government stakeholders, the role blends strategic oversight with hands‑on contract execution. It also involves supervising contractor teams, ensuring performance excellence, and maintaining operational alignment across multiple procurement activities.

The position requires strong acquisition expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, highly regulated environment. This is a fully remote role within the U.S., with occasional travel for operational or onboarding needs.

  • Lead and supervise contractor personnel, including staffing, task assignment, performance monitoring, and operational coordination.
  • Manage cradle‑to‑grave federal acquisition activities, including acquisition planning, market research, solicitation development, award, and post‑award administration.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain acquisition documentation such as plans, determinations, solicitations, evaluation materials, contract awards, and modifications.
  • Support proposal evaluations, negotiations, source selections, contract awards, and lifecycle contract administration.
  • Maintain accurate electronic contract files and develop reports, metrics, and performance updates.
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable federal acquisition regulations, policies, and best practices while supporting continuous process improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in program management, federal contracting, acquisition planning, or related disciplines.
  • Active or previously maintained federal acquisition certification (or equivalent) for at least five years.
  • Strong expertise in cradle‑to‑grave federal acquisition processes, including FAR compliance, contract administration, market research, and procurement strategy.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent acquisition actions in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Preferred: experience with federal health or civilian government acquisition environments and supervising acquisition teams.
  • Preferred: familiarity with electronic contract writing tools and Integrated Contract Expert (ICE) systems.
Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary range: $90,000 – $105,000
  • Full remote work within the United States
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) options
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match
  • Company‑paid life insurance and long‑term disability coverage
  • Paid time off, holidays, and work‑life balance support
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) access
