Sustainability​/GHG Analyst

Giero Consulting is led by a team of CPA, CAs and it also performs business advisory services such as Canadian personal and corporate income tax preparation, payroll management, business valuations and contract reviews.

This is a fully remote contract-based role for a Sustainability Analyst. The ideal candidate is a bright, motivated and reliable individual who has recently entered the work force in the Sustainability space and wants to learn in a hands-on role.

The Sustainability Analyst will be responsible for helping to prepare technical calculations within Microsoft Excel related to GHG emissions and avoided GHG emissions, assisting with GHG-related audit preparation and inquiries, conducting research on global sustainability disclosure requirements, assisting in client management, and supporting corporate sustainability initiatives.

• A motivated, accountable individual who is decisive, able to overcome challenges, and always willing to learn new things
• Knowledge of Greenhouse Gas Accounting and calculations is required
• Strong Analytical Skills and Data Analysis capabilities:
  Detail-oriented with the ability to interpret complex data sets
• Highly adaptive to changes in situations, information, or direction
• Awareness of Corporate Sustainability and Sustainability Reporting
• Proficiency with sustainability frameworks and regulations
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, Accounting, or related field
• Willing to work on a contract billing basis for at least the first 3 months

• Part-time to full-time availability
• You will be working with a variety of clients across the globe as well as many industries and have deep exposure into client work.

$25 - $40 per hour depending on candidate skills and experience.
