About The Role
As the Head of Member Growth Marketing, you will lead a revenue‑driving team responsible for growing membership across Maven’s full book of business — from Fortune 100 employers to populations enrolled directly through health plans. This is a high‑ownership role sitting at the intersection of marketing, CS, and product, with direct accountability to enrollment outcomes across both our enterprise and consumer businesses.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Team leadership: set performance expectations, run the coaching loop, and build the capabilities the function needs to scale through open enrollment and beyond.
- Enrollment program ownership: own Maven’s communications‑based enrollment strategy across the direct and channel books of business, using a data‑first approach to prioritize channels, segments, and experiments; build and refine programs and playbooks for CS and payer teams.
- Strategic partnership with CS and payer teams: serve as the enrollment resource those teams rely on, understanding payer‑distributed benefits, claims‑triggered campaigns, and program design.
- Cross‑functional program ownership: hold strategic ownership of enrollment initiatives spanning product, CS, payer, and data; ensure clear ownership, visibility of dependencies, and alignment to enrollment outcomes.
- Consumer‑to‑enterprise bridge: partner across B2B2C and consumer orgs to build and optimize flows for eligible consumers and enterprise members who lose eligibility.
- Experimentation culture: lead A/B tests on landing pages, paid ads layered against claims campaigns, copy and UX hypothesis testing, partnership pilots, and data‑driven growth initiatives.
- Measurement infrastructure: build reporting that makes enrollment performance legible at channel, client, and program levels, and pursue metrics to shift focus from individual accounts to scalable program models.
- 7+ years in B2B2C lifecycle and member growth marketing, with at least three years in a role focused on scalable programs rather than individual account campaigns.
- Deep fluency in enrollment funnel mechanics: landing page CVR, email‑to‑enrollment conversion, claims‑triggered campaigns, paid media layering, renewal, and reactivation rates, with a track record of measurable improvement.
- Experience leading teams and building a performance culture that does not require hands‑on involvement for every brief; hiring experience is a plus.
- Strong partnership skills with CS and payer teams, enabling them to execute enrollment initiatives.
- Data‑driven approach: build dashboards, design experiments, interpret results, and iterate; experience with Looker or Braze is valuable.
- Bonus: payer‑distributed benefits, health plan partner marketing, or large‑scale referral and vendor partnership programs.
The base salary range for this role is $170,000 – $200,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive equity and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on qualifications, experience, and skillset.
