Associate Director of Transportation Network Design and Strategy is a remote, U.S.
-based position that requires U.S. citizenship. The role focuses on developing and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, cost‑effectiveness, and performance of a global transportation network.
- Lead the design and continuous refinement of the corporate transportation network, evaluating node locations, modal mix, and carrier allocation.
- Collaborate with data teams and functions to develop transportation digital twin and network simulation tools, leading scenario planning.
- Identify and implement initiatives to reduce landed costs while meeting delivery service level agreements.
- Provide project management support for enterprise‑level logistics projects, driving efficiency with third‑party provider technologies.
- Drive cross‑functional alignment across OneRTX Logistics work streams and external partners to ensure cohesive execution.
- Strengthen logistics provider relationships through structured performance management, fostering collaboration and shared success.
- Develop financial models and business cases to support logistics strategies.
- Design and operationalize decision‑making playbooks for logistics transitions, new operations start‑ups, and major projects.
- University degree with 12 years minimum experience, or advanced degree with 10 years, or 16 years in absence of a degree.
- 10+ years of experience in transportation, provider management, or related aerospace or manufacturing roles.
- Logistics modeling – transportation and warehouse network design, mode and usage optimization.
- Project management, change management, and transition management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and distribution/warehouse modeling tools.
- Industrial engineering and scenario planning in supply chain environments.
- Finance and developing business cases.
- Regional/geopolitical experience and sustainability knowledge.
- Regulatory and global trade compliance expertise.
- Practical transportation management experience.
- Compensation range USD 157,200‑298,800 plus annual incentive programs.
