Information Governance Specialist

Position: Information Governance Specialist - Hybrid Role
Join the IESO as an Information Governance Services Specialist in a hybrid role located in Mississauga, ON. Provide essential administrative support and guidance across the information lifecycle while managing complex requests from stakeholders.

This temporary position requires expertise in the information governance domain. Your responsibilities will include overseeing IG services, coordinating records management, and facilitating compliance monitoring. Strong communication skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities are essential for success. You'll also play a key role in training staff and supporting legal activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer end-to-end IG services throughout the information lifecycle

• Manage the Info Gov inbox and customer inquiries

• Coordinate records transfers and shredding services

• Provide information classification guidance and support

• Assist with compliance monitoring and reporting activities

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in Records & Information Management

• Understanding of legal requirements related to records management

• Knowledge of M365 information protection and Purview

• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement

• Relevant two-year post-secondary education in related fields
