Senior Strategy and Operations Lead

The Senior Strategy and Operations Lead plays a critical role in supporting the Chief of Staff and partnering with senior marketing leaders to drive strategic planning, performance management, and operational excellence.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic planning & performance management: support annual planning processes, develop and monitor goals and OKRs, and ensure alignment across the marketing function.
  • Metrics & dashboard development: design, build, and maintain executive dashboards and reporting systems, automate data pulls, generate narrative commentary, and flag anomalies.
  • Executive decision support: conduct detailed analyses, generate data‑driven insights, accelerate research using AI, and shape final recommendations.
  • Leadership meeting preparation: coordinate and develop materials for QBRs, leadership meetings, board presentations, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Executive‑level narrative development: create clear, compelling presentations, reports, and strategic communications.
  • Operational excellence: partner with the Chief of Staff and senior leaders to streamline planning processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Cross‑functional project leadership: manage timelines, deliverables, stakeholder engagement for strategic initiatives.
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, finance, operations, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, business operations, performance management, or management consulting.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail and consistent follow‑through.
  • Track record driving complex cross‑functional projects from ambiguity to execution.
  • Expertise building metrics frameworks, dashboards, and performance reporting systems.
  • Experience with annual planning processes, OKR management, and strategic goal‑setting.
  • Track record developing executive‑level presentations and narratives that drive leadership decisions.
  • Hands‑on proficiency with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot) for research, drafting, summarization, and analysis.
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI‑generated output and apply human judgment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; experience with Tableau or Power BI a plus.
  • Strong executive presence, stakeholder management, and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple strategic priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Experience supporting C‑suite or senior leadership strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with marketing operations or technology industry a plus.

  • Base compensation: $74,200–$137,800 USD for eligible US locations, with additional annual bonus potential.
