Job Description
Join our Cloud Technology Group Strategy & Operations team. Our Business Program Management team provides a CTG-wide approach to identify, prioritize, and successfully execute a portfolio of initiatives aligned with Akamai’s strategic goals. We align product, engineering, and cross‑functional teams to exceed our customers’ expectations. Leaders rely on us to execute critical programs with high business impact.
Responsibilities- Independently initiate and manage cross‑functional programs through their full lifecycle from definition to completion.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring transparency in roadmaps and delivery while managing complex technical programs that require collaboration across multiple groups.
- Lead program plans, including detailed work‑breakdown structures, resource management, communication plans, and risk‑mitigation strategies.
- Serve as the voice of the program to senior leadership, leveraging standardized methods to highlight dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Build relationships across SRE, product, and engineering organizations to keep projects on track.
- Drive cultural change by championing agile mindsets and ensuring the organization adheres to industry best practices.
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalation with stakeholders and assist in the removal of blockers.
- 5 years of relevant technical or engineering experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Experience with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and metric‑definition best practices.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Proficiency in Agile, SAFe, or Scrum methodologies.
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguous or complex corporate environments.

Compensation:
For US candidates only, the base salary ranges from $100,700 to $181,300 per year. Additional compensation may include incentive bonuses, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
