Job Summary

Responsible for managing tire bay operations at the club level, including tire sales, installation, repairs, equipment maintenance, and staff supervision.

Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
  • Supervise tire bay team members, ensuring safety and compliance with policies.
  • Schedule and staff tire bay operations.
  • Install, sell and repair tires; dispose of tires and manage propane tanks.
  • Maintain and order tire equipment; ensure safe use.
  • Keep tire bay and waiting area clean and professional; merchandise displays.
  • Provide knowledgeable service at the tire desk; coordinate with Home Office as needed.
  • Maintain inventory records; utilize special‑order tire programs.
  • Handle tire bay sales and cash transactions.
  • Comply with safety, cleanliness, audits, and checklists.
  • Manage records retention policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all certifications (TIA, Titan) are completed and on file.
  • Build relationships with team members and empower growth.
  • Administer performance appraisals.
  • Florida store managers must hold a qualifier certification.
  • Operate under club policies and procedures.
  • Assume other duties as assigned, including cross‑department work.
  • Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or higher preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to drive automatic and manual vehicles.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and detail orientation skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Knowledge of tires, batteries, propane tanks, and tire equipment.
  • Preferred prior tire installation and sales experience;
    Level 400 certified technician preferred.
  • Must complete Michelin training levels 1–4 within three months of hire.
  • Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance.
  • Leadership experience supervising cross‑functional teams.
Environmental Job Conditions
  • Work in indoor and outdoor temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Primarily standing and moving on hard surfaces – frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, and lifting.
  • May lift objects up to 30 pounds, sometimes more with assistance.
  • Work surrounded by moving cars, machinery, and loud equipment; may require shouting.
  • Possible exposure to approved chemicals, cleaning agents, and strong smells.

In accordance with Pay Transparency requirements, the compensation range for this position is $20.50 – $25.63. Actual salaries vary by location, education, experience, and qualifications.
