Position: Associate Analyst, Transmission (Hybrid Schedule)

Eligibility is based on job responsibilities, operational needs, nature of work and team dynamics. Current guidelines require employees to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor based on department needs.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the planning and/or review of regulatory filings and analyses associated with the preparation, filing and post‑filing activities for transmission.
  • Interface with ISO‑New England and coordinate required filings.
  • Coordinate and support transmission’s business plans, ensuring proper reporting of NERC and ISO‑NE requirements.
  • Coordinate reporting on the group’s quarterly key performance indicator goals.
  • Assist in special projects, including regulatory filing planning and review.
  • Work closely with operations, planning and engineering to facilitate timely filing of compliance filings.
  • Provide analytical support to the Project Manager‑Transmission Compliance.
  • Gather necessary information for all NERC and ISO‑NE related filings.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date records of applicable rules, regulations and past filings.
  • Oversee and provide input to regulatory filings for transmission.
  • Support the group in preparing presentations for management, regulators and external audiences.
  • Manage the group’s calendar of filings, external meetings and NERC reporting requirements.
  • Build and maintain networks of key contacts across the organization to facilitate efficiencies.
  • Prepare and circulate summaries of internal interactions to transmission management.
  • Possess understanding of financial modeling and work effectively under pressure.
Technical Knowledge & Skills
  • Familiarity with the utility industry preferred.
  • Database management expertise, knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint essential.
  • Experience in regulatory reporting desirable.
  • Strong oral and written communication competency.
  • Strong analytical reasoning skills with ability to solve problems.
  • Understanding of electrical power engineering principles desirable.
  • Strong team‑building skills.
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field; or related combination of education and experience.

Experience
: 0 to 3 years related experience for associate level.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive total rewards program. Salary commensurate with experience; potential incentive eligibility. Annual salary range: $71,610.00 – $79,570.00.

Emergency Response

Responding to emergency situations to meet customers’ needs is part of every employee’s role. If employed, you will be given an Emergency Restoration assignment and may be called to assist during an emergency outside of normal responsibilities, hours and location.
