The Business Viability Manager oversees the Business Viability Agency, a student‑based experiential learning unit that provides financial analysis, market research, competitive analysis, and go‑to‑market strategy to support ventures across pre‑launch and post‑launch stages. This role manages agency operations, oversees project execution, and ensures delivery of high‑quality, actionable insights. It combines operational leadership with a structured learning environment where students gain hands‑on experience while contributing meaningful analysis that informs venture development, launch, strategy, and performance.
This position is not eligible for new visa sponsorship at this time. Candidates who already hold valid U.S. work authorization may be considered.
Key Responsibilities OPERATIONS & PROJECT MANAGEMENTOversee product research and data analysis, including:
- Financial analysis to assess product and venture viability
- Market opportunity evaluation
- Go‑to‑market strategy development
- Day‑to‑day operations of the Business Viability Agency, including project intake, tracking, workflow coordination, and reporting
- Manage multiple concurrent engagements, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards
- Maintain records of projects, team assignments, outcomes, and agency performance
- Prepare reports and provide regular updates to Albion Institute leadership
- Foster a professional, team‑based environment emphasizing applied learning and accountability
- Recruit, evaluate, and select students and interns through formal application and interview processes
- Assign student employees to project teams based on skills, experience, and project needs
- Monitor team performance and provide ongoing guidance and feedback
- Serve as the primary liaison between Albion ventures and the Business Viability Agency
- Translate venture needs into clear project plans and analytical objectives
- Structure projects to support both venture outcomes and meaningful experiential learning for student employees
- Facilitate a consistent feedback loop between venture stakeholders, student employees, and Institute leadership
- Ensure ventures receive consistent, high‑quality analytical support
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, data science, economics, or related field
- At least three (3) years of experience in financial analysis, market analysis, or related fields
- Demonstrated analytical, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Graduate degree in business, finance, marketing, data science, economics, or a related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience supervising or mentoring graduate assistants, teaching assistants, or student interns
- Familiarity with interdisciplinary or applied research environments
- Experience connecting academic frameworks with real‑world venture applications

Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience.
