Application Development Advisor- Hybrid

Responsibilities

• Partner with functional teams to solve complex business issues and design scalable system solutions.
• Manage operations and end-user support of the Hyperion EPM 11x platform, including FDM, planning, Essbase, Essbase Studio, ODI, and creation of financial reports.
• Modify/tune existing batch scripts, Visual Basic (VB) scripts, business rules, and Essbase Calc Scripts.
• Analyze and adjust Hyperion system performance as required.
• Participate in creation of standard operational policies and procedures and proactively monitor and streamline tasks.
• Execute system testing, data validations, and stress testing of new enhancements/features and troubleshoot integration and data issues across various Hyperion applications and boundary systems.
• Work interdependently with technical infrastructure teams, application teams, and business units to formulate business requirements and ensure service delivery meets business objectives.
• Coordinate operational handover with global support teams.
• Ensure smooth month-end close and forecast/outlook cycles through close partnership with finance and IT business partners.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in any software development role.
• Experience with software development.
• Experience with Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) including SAAS and On-Premise applications, Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS).
• Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) Essbase Marketplace.
• Experience with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM).
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS).
• Experience with Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
• Experience with Essbase, Financial Data Quality Management Enterprise Edition (FDMEE).
• Experience with Process Control Management (PCM).
• Must have reliable internet connection via cable broadband or fiber optic with speeds of at least 10 Mbps download/5 Mbps upload for remote work.
