Role OverviewJacobs has an exciting opportunity to support our Operations Management & Facilities Services (OMFS) projects and business across the U.S. as a Regional Business Analyst. As the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Regional Business Analyst, you’ll work with operational delivery managers and clients to support various O&M projects, including water & wastewater treatment plants, city services, and facilities services. You’ll be a Project Controls professional focusing on risk management, financial analysis and accounting support.
Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of project financials—budgeting, forecasting, revenue/GM recognition, performance variance analysis—and accounting duties related to accruals and true‑up of financials during monthly, quarterly and annual closeouts. You’ll partner with stakeholders such as project managers, regional and corporate leadership, the OMFS commercial team, sales, contracts, purchasing and accounting. You’ll identify and mitigate risks that could negatively impact project success and profitability, and travel to project sites and regional meetings to engage directly with the teams.
- B.A. or B.S. degree from a four‑year accredited college or university with coursework in engineering, business, finance, and/or accounting or equivalent experience.
- Progressive experience related to accounting and finance in industry or consulting services.
- Extensive prior experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially advanced Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Valid driver’s license with no major infractions.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with fine attention to detail.
- Excellent organization and time‑management techniques.
- Advanced coursework or certification in business, finance, and/or accounting, with applicable work experience.
- Experience and discipline for remote work productivity.
Safety is a core value s position will spend a substantial amount of time performing safety‑sensitive labor or services. The role is hybrid, primarily working from home with some required in‑office time, and includes travel to regional meetings and project sites for the region supported. Candidates are expected to live in the locale(s) where we are hiring; relocation assistance is not available for this opportunity.

The base salary range for this position is $74,700.00 to $95,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience and relevant education or training.
