This role is hybrid, requiring on‑site work Monday through Thursday at Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. Remote work from home or another non‑Best Buy location is available on Friday.
What You’ll Do- Own project delivery:
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet Best Buy’s quality standards through proactive planning and coordination. - Manage plan quality:
Oversee the redline review process to maintain accuracy and compliance in architectural and construction documentation. - Provide work direction:
Indirectly lead Senior Specialists by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring alignment with project milestones under the direction of the Senior Manager. - Collaborate cross‑functionally:
Partner with internal teams as well as external A&E consultants to resolve design challenges and maintain project momentum.
- 5 or more years of design, planning, architectural, engineering leadership, deploying design and/or production of design elements/materials while working with cross functional groups.
- 5 or more years of demonstrated ability to build & develop drawings using AutoCAD.
- 3 or more years of demonstrated ability to review drawings.
- 3 or more years of experience managing project timelines, budgets, and documentation quality.
- 1 or more years of retail experience, working with cross functional store leadership and delivering solutions to improve overall customer experience, customer retention and customer growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Revit, Procore, Bluebeam Revu, and Blue Yonder.
- Familiarity with building codes, permitting processes, and lease requirements.
- Strong collaboration skills with internal teams and external consultants.
