Role:
Associate – Product Management for Black Rock’s active equity business globally.
- Drive product management for Black Rock’s active equity business globally and contribute to the evolution of the product platform covering US, UK and Europe‑domiciled cross‑border fund ranges.
- Create and execute sustainable product strategy, including industry and competitor analysis, product innovation and platform reviews.
- Leverage knowledge of the equities platform to define the global product agenda by mapping, guiding, and tracking products throughout their lifecycle.
- Coordinate annual sales budgeting with functions across the organization for key focus products across regions.
- Partner with product strategy teams across the index‑to‑active platform to provide the highest conviction response to sustainable regulation and evolving client preferences.
- Utilize Aladdin platform and third‑party data sources (e.g., Morningstar, eVestment) to conduct competitor, market and fund range analysis, assessing health and saleability of products and recommending changes to improve commercial appeal.
- Bring strategic planning and execution paired with analytical rigor to new product development, wrapper innovation and seed capital allocation through evaluation of client needs, market growth drivers and regulatory environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Humanities, Social Sciences or a related field.
- Two (2) years of experience in the role offered or as an Analyst or related position.
- Two (2) years of experience with the following:
Microsoft Office suite, financial industry data sources (Morningstar, Broadridge, Sim Fund, eVestment), UCITS and US 40 Act fund regimes and legal structures, data analytics and visualization (Tableau), product pricing analytics and optimization solutions, and sustainable investments, practices, and regulations (SFDR). - One (1) year of experience in equity investment strategies and products.
The salary range is $112,200 – $137,500. Employees are also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including health care, leave benefits and retirement benefits. Black Rock operates a pay‑for‑performance compensation philosophy; total compensation may vary based on role, location, firm, department and individual performance.
